Salt Lake City, Utah – The organization formally known as the Salt Lake City Moose announce today that they are being renamed and rebranded as the Utah Outliers, effective immediately. President Scott Farrell believes the new name and branding reflect a new chapter for the organization, offering a more progressive mentality and innovative spirit.
“Over the past several months, our management team has had several conversations about re-branding our hockey club. With our league becoming more global and targeting young athletes ages 16-20 from all over the world, we want to move into a more modern identity and brand for the organization. We have also worked diligently this off-season to secure new local support and want a fresh look and start for our program. Our new name and logo better reflects our values and mission as an organization.”
The Utah Outliers will continue to play at the Acord Ice Center in West Valley City, Utah with games beginning this September. For more information on the team visit our website at www.UtahOutliers.com.
