Coach Paul Taylor is a native of Vancouver, Canada and brings his successful experience as a Junior hockey coach to the Utah Outliers. Paul was a two time All Star while playing Junior hockey in Canada in the BCHL.
While playing Junior A, Paul received a hockey scholarship to Northern Michigan University where he was honored with receiving the ‘Freshman Of The Year’ award. He went on to play professionally for seven years in the US, Canada and Europe.
Before joining the Outliers, Taylor coached the Dallas Ice Jets in the WSHL and brought instant success to the program. His teams were consistently ranked in the top of the league standings, winning a Division title and making multiple WSHL Thorne Cup appearances. In addition to his team success, Paul has helped a large number of players advance to Junior, college and professional hockey.
The Outliers medical staff is led by our Medical Director and MD, Dr.
Leslie Rassner. Leslie leads a group of staff including a trainer, chiropractor, physical therapy group and an orthopedic group.
Dr. Leslie Rassner is a family medicine doctor in Salt Lake City and is affiliated with Salt Lake Regional Medical Center. She received her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and has been in practice for the past 17 years.
All Outliers players have full medical access for any medical needs during the course of the playing season.
