Home Opener Arrives
After a three week training camp, the Utah Outliers are finally set to hit the ice for their 2021-22 Home Opener. The Outliers kick off their home schedule on Saturday, Sept. 25th when they play host to the Northern Colorado Eagles at the Acord Ice center in West Valley. Puck drops at 6:35 p.m.
Last season Utah and Northern Colorado battled it out all season long in some hard fought games. Both teams will once again be looking to assert their will on the other and pick up the victory.
Head coach Paul Taylor also returns behind the bench for his 6th season at the helm along with assistant coaches Eric Verdi and Jared Pike.
Taylor had this to say about the team heading into the season, "Our coaching staff has liked what we have seen out of our group throughout training camp. We look forward to getting into some game action and measuring ourselves against the rest of the division."
The Outliers Home Opener roster will consist of a mix of players from the United states, Canada, Italy, Czech republic, Latvia, Switzerland, and Great Britain.
